Last weekend was my first tournament of 2020 , I wasn’t planning to fish the FLW BFLs but when I hear that will be on ST Jhon’s River I wanted to fish it because my first major tournament the FLW SERIES will be there. I do have some history on this lake and it is been good to me most of the time, In other words, I like this lake, make me learn how’s fishing rivers and tidal waters, while I can fish some deeper water.

This time I couldn’t practice so I went to use this tournament as a practice, started north up at the river but couldn’t get a bite so headed south , mad a stop on one of my spots on 12 foot of water and bang got my first fish 5 1/2 pounds was 10:30 am , was stopping arou for the next 10 miles until stopped on a spot made a cast with a Livingston 121D jerkbait and a 4 pounder, couple of more cast and another 4 pounder , by that point I knew that I was close to 15 pounds and needed two more fish to be in contingency, around 2 o’clock found myself on lake George and I have a couple of docks that always fish , my first cast on one of them with a Livingston pro ripper lipless crank bait and got me a 4 pounder , was getting back and checked a deep hump in the middle of the river and got my last fish a 5 pounds using a Carolina rig with a bruiser baits Bo worm.

I am really looking forward to this season and feel really good coming into it! I can’t thank you enough for all of your continued support and encouragement, this season is going to be awesome!
